On the day you start the urine test, discard the first urine of the day into the toilet. From then on, all further urine will go into the container that we have provided to you.
Please record the time and date you started with your urine collection along with the date and time it was finally completed.
Continue collecting urine until the same time the following day. Be sure to include the first urine of the day in the container.
Keep the urine container refrigerated at all times. If you leave the house, the container must be brought with you and kept cold on ice.
Please bring the container of urine to the laboratory once you have completed the test. The patient must present in person when returning the urine to the laboratory in case it is necessary to draw blood with your test.
